If you like using Anchor links and update pages which use them on a regular basis then why not save yourself some hassle.
 
A new feature is now available which allows auto-navigation elements to only show headings in the current page.
 
This means that you can create an auto-navigation element at the top of the page, then whenever you insert a new heading or sub-heading on the page, a link will automatically be created at the top (in order they appear on page).
