User Administration

You will likely be the only person with a username and password allowing you to edit your site, but another feature of being site administrator (site admin) is that you are also able to access the User Administration page and allow new users to edit your site. This is an advantage if you want somebody else, for instance an employee, to maintain your site but do not want to give them control of the whole site.
 
Please Note: You can only add new users if you have Site Administrator privileges.
 
Also note that Guest users do not have access to this menu.


The User Administration page will either show a list of users which you can edit, or, if you do not have sufficient privileges to create new users, you will be taken directly to the editing page for your own details.
 
To create a new user, click on Add new user at the top of the listing. A new user with a random name will be created; click on the Edit link next to this new user to alter their details.
 
When editing the details of a user, the following can be updated (depending on your privilege level):

Once you are done, click on the Store Changes button, which will store the changes you have made and return you to the previous page.
