If you want to link to a web page within your website but want it to be secure so that a padlock is shown inside the browser you can do this by creating a blank password group. Create a blank 'list' password group by adding "-" for the username and password inside the spreadsheet and then upload to the password group. Next apply this password group to the page that you want to appear securely.

When this web page appears it should display from our secure server so if you are capturing sensitive data over a web survey (for example) you can show the customer that the data is captured securely. !! All Site Editor site web forms are 'posted' to the web server securely !! however a padlock adds an extra bit of confidence.

Please note that whilst data is transmitted securely from the user to the web server, any data e-mailed thereafter is insecure. The only way to capture and view information with complete security is to use the web survey element and to use the option to store data. Alternatively you could purchase a POP account with us that we could store the details in and you could retrieve them via SSL from your mail client.
